CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS - CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES

Monday, October 31, 2011

It’s that time of year again. Daylight savings time ends at 02:00 AM on Sunday November 6th.

The members of EFD would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that when they change their clocks to change the batteries in their smoke detectors.

Smoke detectors are an invaluable tool to help save lives in the event of a fire. According to the National Fire Protection Association, more than 66% of fatal fires occurred in homes that DID NOT contain a WORKING smoke detector.

If you have any questions about your current smoke detectors or cannot afford a smoke detector, please call us at 717-367-5300 and we can make arrangements to ensure you are protected.
