EFD Volunteers responded to four calls in three hours this evening beginning with a reported building fire in Mastersonville. A crew responded on Truck 74 to the incident on Mount Hope Home Road in Rapho Township but were returned while enroute.
Shortly thereafter, E741 and E741 along with crews from Rheems (7-11) were dispatched to the area of RT 283 and RT 743 for a possible reported vehicle fire. No vehicle was found and crews returned.
Three minutes later, EFD was dispatched for a public service call for a tree blocking the Hershey Road in Mount Joy Township. After clearing the reported vehicle fire, Chief 74 investigated and determined that fire department services were not needed.
Finally, just after 2200 hours, Chief 74 was alerted for an investigation on Lemon Street in the borough resulting from a lightening strike. Chief 74 investigated and determined that no services were needed.
